Stephen Malenchak, 80, Thompson, died Thursday, October 3, 2002, at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY. He was the husband of Priscilla (Brown) Malenchak.
Born June 8, 1922, in Passaic, NJ, he was a World War II Army veteran. He retired from Hewitt-Robbins, Passaic, in 1986.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be missed by all.
Also surviving are a son, Stephen, Bloomingdale, NJ; a brother, John, West Patterson, NJ; two grandchildren, Brett and Emily; two nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Dimitri; two sisters, Ann Moran, Mary Malenchak.
Funeral services were held from the McGranaghan-Lesjack Funeral Home, Forest City, with Pastor Brian Lucas officiating. Interment, Ararat Cemetery.
ANN D. HYZENSKI
Ann D. Hyzenski, Hallstead, PA, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2002, after a long illness. She was the wife of Theodore J. Hyzenski, who predeceased her on December 21, 1979.
Surviving are two daughters and their spouses, Dolores and William R. Kane, Susquehanna, PA, Carol and Robert Laudenslager, Elizabethville, PA; two grandchildren and their spouses, Kelly and Adam Jowharian, Apex, NC, Jeffrey and Suzanne Kane, Hebron, KY; a great-grandson, William A. Kane; a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Elmer Dziak, Marlton, NJ.
Ann was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Great Bend, PA. She was a graduate of Pittston High School and of Lackawanna Business College.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered from St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Great Bend, with the Reverend Louis Kaminski officiating. Interment, St. Johns Cemetery, Susquehanna.
Memorials in honor of Ann D. Hyzenski may be sent to St. Lawrence Church Building Fund, Great Bend, PA 18821.
Arrangements were made by the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead.
MARY JUMPER CLAGUE
Mary Jumper Clague, 84, Conklin, NY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 30, 2002, in Montrose, PA. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Jumper. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford Clague; three brothers; one sister.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Lawton, Conklin, NY; two sons, William Clague and wife Jane, Hallstead, PA, Harry Clague and fiancee Melissa, Schenectady, NY; a sister, Hanna Reynolds, Binghamton, NY; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren ; nieces and nephews.
Mary attended Union Christian Center, Endwell, NY.
Funeral services were held from the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead. Interment, Hawleyton Cemetery, Binghamton, NY.
JOSEPH A. ORLANDO
Joseph A. Orlando, 82, Binghamton, NY, died Saturday, September 28, 2002 at Wilson Hospital after a long illness.
He is a former resident of East Main St., Susquehanna, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Orlando.
He is survived by two sisters, Emma Esterbrook, VA, Juanita Agnew, Susquehanna; sister-in-law and special friend, Margaret Lounsberry, Chenango Bridge; nieces and nephews; his best friend, Tuffy.
Funeral services were held from Binghamton.
